Bar-S Foods is recalling more than 370,000 pounds of its hot dogs and corn dogs because they may contain listeria, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced on Tuesday.

Listeria can cause an infection with symptoms including fever, muscle aches and convulsions in anyone, though it’s primarily a risk for elderly people, babies and those who are pregnant or have weak immune systems.

The recalled hot dogs and corn dogs have not been proven to contain listeria, but Bar-S is recalling them as a precautionary measure, the Food Safety and Inspection Service reports.

It’s a good thing they’re not a better-known brand like Nathan’s or Hebrew National hot dogs, because we need some way to practice our spiral cut this summer.

If you’ve bought any of the recalled products, Bar-S recommends you throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
