Belgian Police Investigate Alleged Orgy During Terror Lockdown

While authorities searched for suspected Paris attackers, two police officers and eight soldiers allegedly had sex together.

Authorities in Belgium are investigating claims that a group of soldiers and police officers had an orgy during a four-day lockdown following the November terrorist attacks in Paris.

Two police officers and eight soldiers allegedly participated in the group sex act at a police station in the Ganshoren neighborhood of Brussels, Belgian newspapers La Dernière Heure and De Standaard reported.

The incident occurred while police and military in the Molenbeek neighborhood, to the south of the station, searched for suspects with ties to the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris, according to reports.

A police spokesman said that an internal investigation has been launched, the newspapers reported.

Authorities used the Ganshoren police station as a temporary barracks during the extended lockdown and heightened security levels in the greater Brussels region following the Paris attacks. The city was on terror alert between Nov. 21 and 25, when concerns of an additional attack forced officials to close schools, public transportation, shops and restaurants.

The soldiers remained in the station to avoid commuting home while on lockdown. About 15 to 20 people slept there during that period, according to reports.
