It makes so much sense.

And nothing about the series has caused more contemplation than a theory popularized by Uproxx that says Steve Harrington, Nancy’s boo, is possibly the father of Jean-Ralphio from “Parks and Recreation.”

Just look at the evidence! They look like each other, and ... well ... that’s all the evidence you need because Ben Schwartz, the actor who plays Jean-Ralphio, just confirmed it.

In a video posted by “The Late Late Show,” Schwartz not only supports S + N = J-R (Steve + Nancy = Jean-Ralphio), but he even adds to the theory. The actor reveals Jean-Ralphio may even have experience in the Upside Down, and that final Eggo twist is a connection as well.

Look, nobody wanted Nancy to end up with Steve in the show. But if those two being apart would’ve deprived the world of Jean-Ralphio, well, nothing is more upside down than that.

”The Late Late Show with James Corden” airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
