Watch Bernie Sanders Throw Serious Side-Eye At Hillary Clinton

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) was not pleased when Hillary Clinton suggested that he had been critical of President Barack Obama during Sunday's Democratic debate in Charleston, South Carolina.

"He's criticized President Obama for taking donations from Wall Street and President Obama has led our country out of the great recession. Sen. Sanders called him weak, disappointing," Clinton said, causing Sanders to throw Clinton some side-eye.

In 2011, Sanders said it would be a good idea to run a primary challenger against Obama for his second term.

"I think there are millions of Americans who are deeply disappointed in the president; who believe that, with regard to Social Security and a number of other issues, he said one thing as a candidate and is doing something very much else as a president," Sanders said in 2011. "So my suggestion is, I think one of the reasons the president has been able to move so far to the right is that there is no primary opposition to him and I think it would do this country a good deal of service if people started thinking about candidates out there to begin contrasting what is a progressive agenda as opposed to what Obama is doing."

Sanders disputed Clinton's characterization of his relationship with the president, noting that Obama had campaigned for him as a senator in 2006 and that he in turn had worked to get the president elected during both of his campaigns.
