It looks like some of our favorite celebrities have stepped up their style game this week. Maybe it has something to do with the start of New York Fashion Week? Or perhaps they're just excited that the seasons are changing? Either way, we learned tons of tricks from the stars that made our best-dressed list.
Tilda Swinton and Elizabeth Olsen showed us the power of the long white dress, Kate Bosworth and Hailee Steinfeld taught us some tips and Emily Blunt schooled us on color-blocking.

Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann: Welp, we can all go home now. Just when we thought Swinton couldn't get any sexier (or more sophisticated), the actress blows us out of the water. Talk about knowing what works on your body.
Elizabeth Olsen in Calvin Klein: To be honest, if you were to describe this dress, sight unseen, it would sound unremarkable. But, the beauty of this gown lies in its simplicity. It fits Olsen's body like a glove, and is understated yet striking. Her ear cuff toughens up the look while her undone hair gives it a youthful vibe.
Kate Bosworth in Alexander McQueen: This outfit proves Bosworth's style prowess. Being able to make leather, tweed and an embellished cable-knit sweater work together in one ensemble is a real skill.
Princess Charlene of Monaco in Christian Dior Couture: Princess Charlene looks long and lean in this embroidered dress. Her red lipstick adds a bit of sex appeal to her otherwise covered up look.
Juliette Binoche in Armani Privé: Whoa, Binoche is peacocking in the best way possible. Her intricately beaded ombre dress is a breath of fresh air on the red carpet, while her sleek hair and minimal makeup ensure that the dress gets all the attention it deserves.
Hailee Steinfeld in Miu Miu: Steinfeld looks cute and fun in this outfit. Not only are the pocket details on her skirt fashion-forward, but they help to make the outfit memorable. We also love how she was bold enough to wear red and pink together.
Emily Blunt: Does she ever get it wrong? Her color-blocked dress with the interesting criss-cross details on top is a nod to her great sense of style. This is also a good tip for anyone who wants to wear light colors, but is worried it could look unflattering -- opt to mix in a darker hue with a little color-blocking.
