Lupita Nyong’o in Dior: Nyong’o stole the show sitting front row at the Dior Fall 2015 couture show. Not only does this color really pop against her complexion, but she managed to make this little red dress daytime appropriate by adding a fun pair of sunglasses, which kept the look cool and casual.

Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.

Lupita Nyong'o in Maison Margiela: This look proves Nyong'o's versatility. While we usually see the actress in more feminine looks and bolder colors, this high-fashion black paneled dress also looks great on the actress. The sunglasses add a fun element and her chunky platforms keep the look trendy.

The sheer trend can still be done (well).

Natasha Poly in Atelier Versace: Everyone stop what you're doing and look at Natasha Poly in this dress. Of course the model looks good in just about everything, but this intricately beaded gown hugs her in all the right places. This is an example of the sheer trend done right -- it's not too revealing, but adds a little bit of lightness to the embellished dress.
The peplum lives on!

Emily Blunt in Dior: Yes, the peplum has been huge for a few years now, but there's a reason -- it's so flattering. Blunt's retro waves and graphic pumps help to spice up this dress and make her a best-dressed candidate.
If you're wearing black, go for an interesting silhouette.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Now this is how you make a statement wearing head-to-toe black. The model's button-up shirt may be classic, but her asymmetrical hem skirt, with the buckle and pleating detail, is fashion-forward.
Lace can look sexy and feminine all at once.

Penelope Cruz in Emilio Pucci: Yes, Julia Roberts and Kate Winslet look amazing, but Cruz is stealing our attention. Her long dress, compared to Winslet and Roberts' short looks, really stands out and the lace accents help to show just the right amount of skin.
