Still coming down from a Super Bowl high and thinking that nothing could possibly make life more complete than what was witnessed last Sunday night? Well, fear not- there's still plenty to live for! Two of the greatest football heroes in the history of the game, Michael Strahan and Tom Brady, have teamed up once more along with award-winning filmmaker Gotham Chopra to bring audiences the second season of their addictive documentary series Religion Of Sports on AT&T Audience Network!

The series captivated fans during the first season, and it intends to make even bigger headlines for the second, tackling episodes like; The Clash in New Zealand – how the best rugby players in the British Isles met one of the southern hemisphere’s most dominant teams, the All Blacks, or, German soccer fandom; how St. Pauli fans take their passion beyond the field and regularly protest sexism, fascism and homophobia.

One of the major reasons behind the success of the show is that it comes from people who are not only brilliant athletes and sports industry insiders themselves, but, they are also enormous fans just like those that the show is pitched toward. Michael Strahan and his magnetic partner, Constance Schwartz-Morini at SMAC Entertainment have sculpted an enormous empire out of knowing their clientele, and are geniuses at giving their audiences what they want. When Strahan was asked to comment, the heroic athlete and entrepreneur was quoted saying;

"Constance Schwartz and I are elated and grateful to Chris Long and the AUDIENCE Network to have Religion of Sports returning for a second season. Our goal was to have this unique show serve as the bridge that connects the passion of religion with the passion of sports. Gotham Chopra, Tom Brady and the incredible team intertwined/meshed both beautifully during our first season. We look forward to getting started on season two as this has been such an amazing experience.”

The show has already received high critical acclaim and mountains of good reviews, and with Tom Brady and Michael Strahan both cementing themselves as two of the most iconic men from the NFL, it seemed like a no-brainer to renew the hit. The intuitive Schwartz-Morini had this to say on the pick-up;

"After experiencing one of the most exciting Super Bowls of all time, we are thrilled to get started on our second season. This is a huge passion project for all of us and we are ready to cover the globe in search of more great stories for Religion of Sports."

And the dynamic duo from SMAC Entertainment aren't the only two eager to get started on production. When questioned on his thoughts about moving forward with a season two, filmmaker Gotham Chopra was also all smiles;

“I’ve been a true believer in the Religion of Sports for pretty much my whole life,” said Chopra. “That I found incredible partners in Michael, Tom, and Constance Schwartz, wildly talented collaborators in my creative team, and a network led by Chris Long to join my cult, has been the most fulfilling professional pursuit of my career. And now we get to do it all over again – I’m pumped and can’t wait to get going.”

And as for Brady, who scored his astounding fifth Super Bowl win this past weekend, the football star was thrilled to report;

"Sports has always been a spiritual experience for me. Pushing myself and my teammates to perform at the highest level requires a discipline and intensity that is all about mastering the self. That I’m able to share that experience in another medium – through stories of people for whom sports is a matter of faith – has been a great thrill. I couldn’t be more proud and excited that we’ll be producing another season of Religion of Sports.”

And neither could fans.
