The stories of trans masculine men often go largely unheard in mainstream conversations about transgender identity.
As a result of this, projects like "Brothers" -- one of our favorite queer web series -- are both important and revolutionary. This web series follows four transgender and trans masculine men leading complicated, intersecting lives.
Having completed the first season in 2014, the boys gave us a glimpse of what we can expect earlier this year by releasing the first episode of season two. Now, they are engaged in a Kickstarter campaign in order to fund the full second season.
"Right now, trans stories are a hot topic but there are still so few stories being told from our own perspectives," creator Emmet Lundburg says in the above video. "I was inspired to go out and create this show after my own experience in realizing that the trans male voice is still largely unheard."
