Bryan Cranston Lost His Virginity In Amsterdam's Red-Light District

"It was awful ... and wonderful."

It's a story that could double as the plot to a bad teen sex comedy, but it really happened -- or so says Bryan Cranston.

The former "Breaking Bad" star was more than candid as he recounted losing his virginity in Amsterdam's famous red-light district on "Inside the Actors Studio," much to the delight of the audience who applauded and roared with laughter.

Cranston explained that he and 20 teens toured Europe for a month. When they reached Amsterdam, he ended up tagging along with two friends he went through the LAPD Academy with who wanted to hit up the red-light district and all it had to offer, much to the actor's dismay.

"I didn't want to tell them I was a virgin. I'm panicking, " he recalled, adding that he tried to convince his friends to go without him. "I'm backing out. I'm nervous as hell."

Cranston said his two friends negotiated a deal and went upstairs with the sex workers while he waited in the foyer. While alone and waiting for his friends, a woman approached the actor asking how much money he has to offer her for her services. The woman was undeterred, despite his protests that went too far as to try to show her he didn't have enough money.

"She takes [the money], grabs my hand and pulls me into a room," he said, smirking and grimacing as if he was replaying the entire experience in his mind. "It was awful ... and wonderful. And she and I have been married now for ..." he joked.

That seminal moment isn't all Cranston shared while visiting the Actors Studio. He also opened up about not being able to hold back tears while filming one emotional and horrifying scene on "Breaking Bad," (spoiler alert) in which Jesse Pinkman's (Aaron Paul) girlfriend, Jane (Krysten Ritter), chokes on her own vomit and dies, while Cranston's character makes the decision not to help her.

"At one point, I saw my daughter's face instead of hers, and that was the moment that choked me up, and it was like, 'Oh my God,'" he explained. "And I guess that's why I closed my eyes -- I'm not sure. You don't remember the specifics because you're there.”
