Cara Delevingne Is Unrecognizable As Enchantress On Empire Cover

Cara, is that you?

We got our first look at Cara Delevingne as Enchantress in May, when "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer shared a photo of nearly the entire cast in full costume. Then fans were permitted another -- very brief -- look at her in the film's first trailer, released in July:

While the 23-year-old model-turned-actress looked a little grungier than we're used to seeing her in the trailer, she's totally unrecognizable while in character on the cover of Empire magazine.

On Tuesday, Delevingne shared the magazine cover with her fans on Instagram and wrote, "Making my own rules #Enchantress#SuicideSquad."

According to the fansite ComicBookMovie, Delevingne opened up to the magazine about her character June Moone, who becomes possessed by the spirit of Enchantress.

"June is an adventure seeker who's always wanted some excitement," she told Empire."And she gets what she wished for, but in a terrible way. At the start of the movie she discovers a cavern and finds ... something ...within."

The actress went on to describe her character's alter-ego as "an ancient sorceress. A feral being. She's been trapped for so long and know she's finally let out."

Meanwhile, Delevingne is just one of the stars of "Suicide Squad" to cover the magazine. On Monday, Empire released their cover of Jared Leto as the Joker and it seems that more covers will be revealed before the magazine hits stands on Thursday.
