Chris Weidman's Worst Injury Ever Was A Traumatic Penis Incident

For the next five years, his classmates thought his junk had been amputated.

Chris Weidman opens himself up to grave injury each time he enters the UFC Octagon, but he told HuffPost Live that his most traumatic injury ever occurred far outside the ring. Instead, it was in his elementary school restroom.

During a conversation on Friday about his upcoming fight with Luke Rockhold, host Caitlyn Becker asked the UFC middleweight champion about the worst pain he's ever experienced. "I became a UFC fighter," he said, "but the worst thing that comes into my head instantly is my penis getting caught in my zipper."

It happened in the first grade, when a classmate looked over the stall as Weidman was trying to do his business. He got nervous, and then, "Whoops -- it gets caught." He was quickly joined by his teachers, principal, vice principal and a team of paramedics who could not free his willy.

"Then they cut my jeans off completely, to where the only things left are the zipper and me naked -- including all my teachers and principals, everyone looking at me when I'm naked," Weidman said. "Then they put me on the stretcher, and of course the bell rings in the school, so everybody comes out of their classes and I'm going out on the stretcher, and everyone's like, 'What's wrong with him?' I'm like, 'Nothing!'"

Unfortunately for Weidman, his older brother was only too happy to share what really went down -- including the erroneous detail that his penis had actually been amputated.

"So until I was in sixth grade, everyone thought I had no penis," he said. "The fact that everybody thought I had no penis, I kind of took that hard. So in sixth grade, I was just kind of whipping it out everywhere, just, like, 'Look at me, I have one!'"

So, if you ever need proof of where a man's priorities lie, look no further than this video of the guy who brutally broke Anderson Silva's leg during a fight describing the sheer agony of penis-related pain.
