Here's Cubs President Theo Epstein Dropping An F-Bomb On TV

One curse that's still alive.

Theo Epstein uttered a four-letter word on television early Thursday ― and it wasn’t C-U-B-S.

Agonizing over the twists and turns of his team’s Game 7 World Series victory over Cleveland, the Cubs’ president of baseball operations recalled the Boston Red Sox’s stunning loss to the New York Yankees after a home run by Aaron Boone in the 2003 American League Championship Series.

“That’s baseball. You can never get too excited,” Epstein said. “People are texting me ‘Congrats,’ and I’m like, ‘Fuck you.’ This is baseball. Anything can happen.”

We forgive you, Theo. A championship 108 years in the making can bring out the potty mouth in any guy.
