Retired soccer star David Beckham has not been shy about embracing dad duties since hanging up his cleats in 2013.
From family hikes to stitching doll clothes, Beckham has melted our hearts with his hands-on parenting. He even let his kids design some of his ink. But if all that wasn’t enough to justify Beckham’s“world’s best daddy” award, here’s another bit of spot-on parenting: family nap time looks pretty great.
Beckham posted this photo on Instagram of he and five-year-old daughter, Harper snoozing in the sun.
But why does a little afternoon slumber feel so good? Studies show naps can increase your patience, make you feel more alert, help you remember things, be more creative and even ward off heart disease down the road.
Sounds like we could all stand to follow this lead.
