If Dogs Ruled Hollywood, It Would Look Like This

Would doggy versions of famous movies -- Jurassic Bark, Boondock Saint Bernards, Hound Dog Day, Bark to the Future, Pup Fiction or Citizen Canine -- make your tail wag?

Unfortunately, they don’t exist. But thanks to Instagram mash-up mater, Jaemy Choong, dog/movie poster mashups do and -- doggone it -- they’re cute.

This project isn’t Choong’s first mashup rodeo. The Malaysian Instagrammer’s 18.9k followers have been enjoying his silly movie poster masterpieces since 2014.

Yet, until this year, they only involved humans and movie posters. Adding dogs to the mash up mix has been quite a challenge for the 30 year old.

“Little did I know, it is actually way harder to take a perfect shot of a dog than a human,” Choong told HuffPost. “Humans listen to instructions.”

Choong initially used his parents' two dogs, Fifi and Luna, for his pictures, but now also uses his friends’ dogs who come over to his place to hangout and participate in, what sounds like, ruff photo shoots.

“Oh man I take so many takes, you have no idea,” he lamented. “It's really not easy. Sometimes I wait for days for the ‘models’ to get into a position I can finally ‘work’ with.”

The biggest problem with working with dogs, according to Choong, is that they act like dogs.

“Usually they want to sniff my face or pounce on me because they think I have food,” he said. “I try to catch them after they have eaten or when they have gotten bored of my presence.”

And that, apparently, is when the magic happens. Labra-cadabra-brador!
