Efrain Hardman, 'Oil Of Olay Bandit,' Allegedly Stole $40,000 Of Skincare Products, Turned Himself In

Smooth Move: 'Oil Of Olay Bandit' Stole Tens Of Thousands In Skincare Products

He thought he was smooth.

Efrain Hardman, a 27-year-old who allegedly stole $40,000 worth of skincare products, gave up and turned himself in to Texas police on Wednesday, NBC 5 reported.

The Coppell man, dubbed the "Oil of Olay Bandit," reportedly told police that he stole the branded products from almost three dozen North Texas Tom Thumb grocery stores between December 2011 and Sunday.

Cops told MSNBC that Hardman was trying to re-sell the lifted goods because he lost his job at an Irving fast food restaurant and was broke.

Hardman was charged with four counts of theft in Coppell, but other cities are also interested in pressing charges against him.

He copped to the theft after NBC 5 aired a report naming him as the primary suspect in a string of missing skin care products earlier this week.

Coppell police Sgt. David Moore said that Hardman probably steals Oil of Olay because the company's products are expensive and could turn around "quite a bit of money."
