Ethan Embry Is Down For A ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’ Reunion Too

"I would be thrilled to work with any of the players involved again," he tells us.

The 25-to-35-year-old U.S. demographic has been a recovering from a collective nostalgia-induced heart attack in recent days, a direct result of Jennifer Love Hewitt suggesting on Sunday that she was into the idea of some sort of “Can’t Hardly Wait” reunion.

Well, prepare yourself for another tremor. Because her co-star, Ethan Embry, just told The Huffington Post that he’salso very into the idea.

“Of course, I would be thrilled to work with any of the players involved again,” Embry said in a statement provided to HuffPost. “Jennifer, Peter [Facinelli], Seth [Green], working with them back then, we were so young -- it was a tremendous experience at such a wonderful time in my career, that if all the stars aligned, I would be happy to entertain that possibility.”

Embry played Preston Meyers in the film, the slightly dorky but good-hearted kid that everyone was obviously supposed to relate to. In the end of the movie, he finally gets his moment with Amanda Beckett, played by Hewitt. Proving some sort of life lesson.

According to Ethan, there are no secret plans in the works. “Right now it is just a hypothetical, so here’s to dreaming,” he said. But you know what this means: Some go-getter out there needs to start a GoFundMe campaign.
