A 'Dr. Phil' Exclusive: Ex-Girlfriend Of The Man Accused Of Killing And Dismembering A Seattle Mom Speaks Out

Heather Danishefsky, a former girlfriend of John Robert Charlton, the man accused of killing and dismembering a 40-year-old Seattle nurse and mother of three, speaks to Dr. Phil in an exclusive television interview about her relationship with Charlton, and her claims he tried to choke her. The episode airs Tuesday, April 26.

Charlton, who reportedly had been dating Ingrid Lyne for a month, has been charged with first-degree murder in her death. Authorities say Lyne was murdered and her body was dismembered and subsequently disposed in the trash. Charlton is currently in jail on a $2 million dollar bond and faces at least 28 years in prison if convicted.

In the episode, Danishefsky tells her story of her relationship with Charlton, her allegations of his controlling behavior, the emotional abuse she claims she suffered and how he allegedly choked her twice. She claims that Charlton had a secret dark side which she says made her not surprised to hear he was a suspect in the murder.

Also, find out about the surprising photo Danishefsky took of Charlton, and the blanket her daughter keeps as a reminder of Charlton.
