'Focus' Trailer; Or, What Happens When Will Smith & Margot Robbie Replace Ben Affleck & K-Stew

Now, Will Smith Makes Con Artists Look Good

The first trailer for "Focus" has arrived. Will Smith stars as Nicky Spurgeon in the film, a grifter who teaches his "intern," Jess Barrett (Margot Robbie), how to get in on the game. After almost getting together, the duo split until they meet again years later for a huge job. Co-starring Rodrigo Santoro and Gerald McRaney, "Focus" comes from writer-directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa ("Crazy Stupid Love"), and had been fueling casting rumors for quite a while. At first, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone were sought for the lead roles; then Kristen Stewart and Ben Affleck were attached. Fortunately, Smith and Robbie seem like fine con artists to us. "Focus" hits theaters Feb. 27, 2015.
