That Kid From ‘Charlie And The Chocolate Factory’ Is All Grown Up

And he's grown into his looks, as some would say.

Watching young British child stars morph into beautiful adult specimens has become somewhat of a pasttime for us regular folk.

Let us explain: There's Emma Watson, who went from being a frizzy-haired Hermione to one of Hollywood's most graceful (and gorgeous) stars, Nicholas Hoult, the little kid from "About a Boy" who went on to star in Tom Ford Campaigns (and date Jennifer Lawrence) and, of course, Matthew Lewis, who went from being an awkward Neville Longbottom to being flat-out hot.

Now, there's Freddie Highmore. The actor, known for playing Charlie Bucket in Tim Burton's adaptation of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," sure has grown into his looks, as some would say.

Back in 2005, Highmore was an adorable kid with with bright eyes and crooked teeth.

Since then, he's transformed into one very attractive man, if we do say so ourselves. Just check him out on the summer 2015 cover of Attitude magazine:

His eyes are piercing through our souls.

And here's another snap from inside the magazine:

Oh, and here he is looking dapper in a navy suit on the red carpet back in March:

He's a looker, that's for sure.

Aside from growing up, the actor, now 23, has appeared in a few films since "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," including "The Art of Getting By" alongside Emma Roberts. He's also currently starring as Norman Bates in the drama-thriller "Bates Motel," which we now want to watch even more than before.
