Google 'Super Mario' Right Now For A Little Surprise

Everyone loves a Google Easter egg.

Super Mario, Nintendo's famed Italian plumber, turned 30 on Sunday.

To mark the occasion, Google appears to have popped a "?" block" into its search engine. Visit Google.com, type in "Super Mario Bros" and in the search results will be that instantly recognizable blinking box from the original video game. Tap it and it'll produce coins and the iconic "ding!" sound.

If that's not enough to calm your Mario fever, Nintendo's got you covered. On Friday, the company released "Mario Maker," a new game that lets you create your own side-scrolling Mario levels. We called it a "DIY triumph" in our review.
