Gwen Stefani Had Never Even Heard Of Blake Shelton Before Working On 'The Voice'

The singer also admitted she's "in a good place" right now and is "having a lot of fun."

It's been less than a month since Gwen Stefani last stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," but of course one little thing has changed -- everyone now knows she's dating her "Voice" co-star Blake Shelton.

In her last visit, the 46-year-old gave an emotional performance of her new song "I Used to Love You," which is about her divorce from Gavin Rossdale. DeGeneres and Stefani briefly spoke about the song in an interview that airs Friday, with comments that seemed to confirm reports that Rossdale cheated on the No Doubt singer. All the talk show host really cared about, it seemed, was getting the dirt on Stefani's new relationship.

Stefani admitted that, despite the pain of her divorce, she's "in a good place" and is "having a lot of fun."

"It's like a whole new life, a whole new chapter. It's been so great to be on 'The Voice' and be around all that music," she explained.

DeGeneres wasn't shy as she tried to get Stefani to open up about Shelton. A big smirk broke out across her face as she noted that the singer seemed more relaxed and playful as the season went on, before surprising Stefani with a very cozy photo of the couple.

"Whoa!" she said, and laughed as the photo appeared onscreen. "Ride 'em, cowboy."

Stefani again stated that she's "having a lot of fun" now, and went on to say that she didn't even know who Shelton was before starting on the show with him.

"I didn't even know who he was before I was on the show. Before I was on 'The Voice,' I had never heard of him before," she said.

"I didn't, I hadn't. I'm an O.C. girl, what would I know?" she told DeGeneres, who gave her a look of disbelief.

The talk show host went on thoroughly embarrass Stefani when she asked if he's a good kisser, but the singer only laughed -- apparently refusing to kiss and tell.
