'Hoarders': Scared Of Losing Her Grandson, Joanne Seeks Help And Undergoes An Amazing Transformation (VIDEO)

'Hoarders': Joanne's Love For Her Grandson Inspires Amazing Transformation

On "Hoarders" (Mon., 9 p.m. EST on A&E) viewers were introduced to Joanne and her young grandson Cayden.

Compulsive hoarder Joanne was Cayden's daytime caregiver, but her home had become so squalid and cramped that it was close to being too dangerous for him to visit any more.

Plus, Joanne's hoarding had also brought her relationship with her son and daughter-in-law to breaking point.

Faced with the threat of not being able to see her grandson any more, Joanne sought help and took steps toward dealing with her issues.

With the help of Dr. Robin Zasio she cleaned up her house. And how! As a delighted Cayden explored the newly immaculate home, Dr. Zasio paid tribute to his grandmother.

"I can't be more pleased with Joanne and how she worked this process," she said. "She was open, she was ready, I think she's going to work to restore her relationship with her son."

As she watched Cayden running safely through her home Joanne said it was the best day of her life. For his part, the adorable little tyke said, "My grandma is the best grandma in the world!"

Watch new transformations -- or disappointments -- each week on "Hoarders," Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on A&E.
