A: The risks of the NFL are serious, and it's not something to take lightly. I love math and I love football and I know there's risks involved and that I'm damaging my body and my brain. But you only give one life and, in my opinion, life's too short to not do the things you love.

A: I think most people think it's a lot of glamour and partying. That stuff is there, if that's what you're into. But mainly it's a lot of time and a lot of hard work. Our schedules are very structured and don't vary much week to week so it becomes very repetitive. I always say my life is pretty mundane. Most of my weeks are exactly the same!

A: The biggest thing is the toughness and the resiliency. When you're tough, you're not just tough in football, but in all aspects of your life. I consider myself a tough football player and also a tough mathematician.

A: It's really interesting, because I think this offseason I didn't have to do too much balancing. Even if I wasn't playing in the NFL, I definitely would be working out every day. So my time commitments this Spring weren't too different from what it's going to be like the rest of my life. And I always seem to find a way to make time for the things that are important to me. There's a lot of hours in the day.
