People worldwide are grieving following an attack in Nice Thursday night, which killed at least 84 people and wounded dozens more after a man crashed his truck into a crowd of people watching fireworks on Bastille Day.
Organizations and individuals have come together to show their support for the people in Nice and to provide help to those affected in the wake of the tragedy.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and other loved ones of those killed,” President Obama said in a statement. “We stand in solidarity and partnership with France, our oldest ally.”

Here’s how you can help.
1. Support The Families Of The Victims
The Center for Disaster Philanthropy has launched a CrowdRise campaign to provide support to the victims of the attack. The organization is assessing the best path for distributing funds directly to those affected, victims’ families and to local nonprofits providing critical services, the CDF President Bob Ottenhoff told HuffPost.
“As Americans, we answered the call for similar needs following the Boston Marathon bombing and the recent Orlando nightclub shooting,” the campaign page reads. “Today, our hearts go out to those in France.”

2. Support The U.S. Family Who Lost A Father And Son
Americans Sean Copeland, 51 years old, and his son Brodie, 11 years old, were killed in the attack in Nice. Copeland was from Texas and was in Nice with family to celebrate a birthday, reported local news station WFTV.
A GoFundMe page was started in honor of Sean and Brodie Copeland, with all funds going directly to the Copeland family.
“Nobody deserves this type of fate, especially not such a wonderful family,” the page reads. “Rest in peace, Brodie and Sean, you will be remembered by many.”
