Howard Stern Uses Sheep-And-Wolf Analogy To Denounce Gun Control

If you like hearing Stern make animal noises, well, there's a lot of that.

What the flock?

While addressing the recent mass shooting in Orlando, Florida, radio host Howard Stern used a barnyard metaphor Wednesday to denounce the idea of gun control, The Wrap reported.

Basically, Stern said, ordinary members of the public are the sheep, and terrorists and other armed bad guys are the wolves. And the sheep, he said, shouldn't have their guns taken away.

"I think the answer doesn't lie in taking any kind of ability of the sheep to protect themselves from the wolves," Stern said on his Sirius XM show.

Forty-nine people were killed in the shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando early Sunday morning, touching off a fresh round of calls for tighter gun laws. Senate Democrats filibustered for nearly 15 hours on Wednesday to force a vote on two gun control measures, neither of which would involve taking away people's weapons.

"I’m so upset about Orlando and what went down, but I can’t believe these people who come out afterwards and their answer to Orlando is to take away guns from the public,” Stern said on Wednesday. “It’s fucking mind-blowing to me."

The host went on to speculate about what would have happened if European Jews, including Anne Frank's family, had been armed when the Nazis came calling.
