Chrissy Teigen has been the target of every type of shaming on social media (mom, body, Trump, etc.) this past year, so it’s about time husband John Legend got a taste of what it’s like to walk a day in her stilettos.

Everybody’s favorite couple visited “Watch What Happens Live” Wednesday night to promote Legend’s new album “Darkness and Light,” which we’ve already sob-tested so you don’t text your exes in the middle of the night and regret it later.

In our favorite “Clubhouse Playhouse” moment yet, the singer happily played along when host Andy Cohen dragged him up with an ombre wig to impersonate his wife and recreate her many, many Twitter feuds. Luckily, fellow guest Trevor Noah, who is no stranger internet controversy himself, was on hand to play the various internet trolls who’ve come for Chrissy this past year.

After acting out a spat with a follower about being the inspiration for the song “All of Me,” Legend as Teigen delivered a tour de force performance to bring to life the time his wife clapped back at a mom shamer who told her how to hold baby Luna.

“This is not how a baby is held!” Cohen, taking over the reins from Noah, yelled at Legend.

“Really? Because that’s how I’m effing holding her,” Legend fired back while holding a baby doll by the foot. “I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers.”
