Not voting is not an option.
In a clip going viral on social media, one mother makes that perfectly clear to her son ― not only telling him to vote, but who to vote for.
Here’s the video that was posted on Twitter by a user who goes only by the name of Kenny:
“If I don’t vote for Hillary (Clinton) what’ll happen?” Kenny asks.
“There’s going to be a little problem in this house,” she replies as Kenny laughs. “I’ll seize your phone, I’ll seize the car.”
When Kenny implies he might vote for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, she tells him not to vote for “the stupid man” who doesn’t even know what Aleppo is.
And when Kenny asks if there’s an option to not vote at all, she schools him.
“You have to carry out the civic duties of being an American,” she said. “Don’t act like you’re a moron.”
For the record, Kenny said he’s voting for Clinton.
“I was just showing y’all how strongly my mom feels about the election,” he wrote on Twitter.
