King's Hawaiian Bread Now Makes Stuffing, And It's Selling Fast

We're definitely thankful for this.

Thanksgiving -- and the entire holiday season, for that matter -- just got a lot sweeter.

King's Hawaiian, maker of those cult-favorite grocery store dinner rolls, got its start in Hilo, Hawaii in the 1950s. A small, family-run bakery, the enterprise moved to the mainland in the late '70s, eventually churning out the #1 brand-name dinner roll in the U.S.

And now, it's debuted a stuffing version of its Hawaiian sweet bread for the holidays.

KING’S HAWAIIAN bread makes stuffing extra special – and now, even simpler. Introducing our all-new KING’S HAWAIIAN Classic Stuffing, in limited stores this season!

The stuffing features large-cut cubes of sweet bread, seasoned with spices. The response to its debut has been so enthusiastic that the first batch sold out, King's Hawaiian said on its website, though another batch will be available to ship out Tuesday, Nov. 17. You can order the stuffing online or find it at select stores through the holidays.

While King's Hawaiian is no longer considered a local Hawaiian mom-and-pop product, this sweet treat one of the closest things we mainlanders have to the islands. If you can't get your hands on a bag, check out our list of top stuffing recipes.
