Toronto Raptors' Kyle Lowry Hits Half-Court Buzzer Beater

Laser-guided Lowry!

The Toronto Raptors’ Kyle Lowry nailed an absurd half-court shot that forced Tuesday's Game One of the Eastern Conference semifinals into overtime and sent spectators into a frenzy.

Lowry’s guided missile of a shot tied the game with the Miami Heat at 90, giving the Raptors renewed hope after many of their home court fans, fearing defeat, had left. The Heat eventually won, 102 to 96.

Lowry’s Hail Mary shot salvaged what had been a less than stellar home game for the point guard. He had only put up four points, shooting 2 for 12.

The Raptors had trailed by as much as 10 points during the second half. Many fans who left early no doubt felt really dumb when they found out what happened.

But everybody loves drama -- and shots that you can watch over and over. So Lowry stepped up! Thanks man!

After the game, Lowry reportedly skipped the locker room to practice his shooting for the next game in the series.
