Liam Gallagher Sues Brother Noel For Apology; Oasis Brother Sues Over Band Split

Inside Their Crazy Drama

It's a storyline borrowed from the Bible: two brothers and strong prophanity.

While Oasis is known to many as the beloved British rock band, it has been no secret that there wasn't a tremendous amount of love between its two leading men, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.

The band called it quits in August, 2009 after a dressing room battle erupted at the V Festival in Paris, France and Oasis cancelled their set moments before they were supposed to perform.

But this modern day Cain and Abel saga doesn't end there, now London's High Court is getting involved.

Liam issued a statement saying that he was suing songwriter, guitarist and big brother Noel for his comments on why the band split.

The younger Gallagher wants Oasis fans to "know the truth" that they did not pull out of the festival because he was hung-over but because he had laryngitis.

For Liam, the suit is not over money--it's a matter of principle.

"I am used to being called all sort of things by Noel and I have in the past said things about him, but what Noel has alleged this time went way beyond rock-and-roll banter and questioned my professionalism."

Well, he'll show them who's professional: He has a doctor's note.
