Lorde Confirms She Didn't Throw Shade At Kendall Jenner And Harry Styles

She may be a huge pop star, but when all's said and done, Lorde is just another teenager who's never been on vacation outside of her own country.

The "Royals" singer shared a picture on Instagram over the weekend and expressed what sounds like major FOMO in the caption.

When you scroll through your feed and all the pretty famous boys and girls are on yachts or in Saint Barth's and you're at home where it's raining and you've never even been on a holiday to another country before, never been to a tropical island let alone Saint Barth's and actually you aren't even sure if you're spelling Saint Barth's right.

After seeing the post, fans began speculating that she was throwing shade at Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles, who were recently spotted on vacation together in St. Barts. (Note: There was apparently plenty of PDA involved.)

Lorde laughed off the accusations by clarifying her initial caption. "Lol no 'shade' folks if i were on an island or in even nearish proximity to a yacht you would be hearing all the f**k about it just making fun of my own lameness," she wrote.

But can we just take a minute to note that Lorde almost definitely has enough money to take herself on vacation and to buy herself a yacht?
