Police received a call from a "distraught" male and when they arrived at Nesci's home, they found she had been stabbed. They pronounced her dead at the scene, reports ABC 11 Eyewitness News.
Police are treating the 47-year-old former police officer's death as a homicide, according to People magazine, who reports that Nesci's boyfriend Robert Reagan has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held on $1 million bail.
According to ABC 11, Reagan was the one who made the call to police and neighbors say the couple argued constantly. The pair's five-year-old son was not home when police arrived, Police Sgt. Fabian Saucedo told the LA Times.
