Um, Mariah Carey Just Wrote A New Christmas Song

HAPPY holidays.

Oh wow, oh wow, there is more Mariah Carey Christmas music to listen to this holiday season.

At her show at the Beacon Theater in New York on Thursday, Mariah Carey free-styled a song about Christmas time in New York. It's catchy and FUNNY and honestly, we would buy it as a single.

Ugh, the off-the-cuff charm!

Obviously, Carey already has a Christmas hit you can buy as a single, "All I Want For Christmas Is You," which has truly entered the holiday canon since its release in 1994.

After many years of domination, the song somehow lost its top spot as the most played Christmas songs in retail in 2015, Paste recently reported, to The Shins' cover of Paul McCartney's"Wonderful Christmastime." (Seriously, stores?) It still, however, remains number one in Billboard's Holiday 100, Vulture notes, and also probably in, like, the eventual tides of history.
