Remember that geography test you failed in middle school because your preternaturally attractive substitute teacher pronounced the capitals of South American countries with the sensuality of a Backstreet Boys spoken-word interlude?

Well, 30 lucky students at the University of Texas at Austin are about to relate hardcore this fall when Matthew McConaughey returns to his alma mater to teach a filmmaking class with "Hunger Games" director Gary Ross.

The university announced McConaughey's professorship on Thursday morning with a video compilation of his greatest roles, which promises that students of the Moody College of Communications will receive "a hands on experience" from the Oscar winner and learn the ins and outs of the entertainment industry.

McConaughey's class will reportedly be centered around his most recent film, "Free State of Jones," the story of a Confederate Army deserter who forges a coalition of runaway slaves to establish a free state in the swamps of Mississippi.

According to San Antonio Express-News, "McConaughey will take students 'behind the scenes' ... through recorded videos and at least one on-campus visit."

This will be the actor's second time in front of a classroom at the university, as he co-taught a class in the spring of 2016 about the production of "Free State of Jones," according to Us Weekly. As the movie had not been released, students were forbidden from sharing photos and video and required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
