Michael Phelps Stars In Arizona State Student Section's 'Curtain Of Distraction'

And it's just as incredible as you'd expect.

The Arizona State student section has been known to unleash some wackily wonderful stunts to distract opposing free-throw shooters during Sun Devil basketball games in the last couple of years. But the stroke it pulled off Thursday night blew the rest out of the water.

While the 942 Crew -- the group in charge of the “Curtain of Distraction” -- has mimed Miley Cyrus music videos and creepy clowns in the past, this time, with 13:47 remaining in the ASU-Oregon State contest and a freshman at the charity stripe, it managed to unveil an Olympian to do its bidding. When two students drew the black curtain back, there stood Michael Phelps, partially undressed and ready to divert the attention of the OSU rook.

@942crew we just killed it!!!! #mp #mpswim #asu #curtainofdistraction and he missed both!!

Phelps has been training for the 2016 Summer Olympics at a pool near campus, as his personal coach now heads up the Sun Devils’ team, as well. So someone in the 942 Crew had the brilliant idea to recruit the perennial gold medal winner to grab his speedo, hardware and swim cap and come on down to the Wells Fargo Arena for a good ol’ Pac 12 basketball game. Per Yahoo Sports, Phelps was more than happy to help out, and had a good time doing so.

In what has been an unpredictable college hoops season thus far, Thursday’s Phelps sighting may just have been the most unexpected, uninhibited and undeniably amazing moment yet. More "Curtain of Distraction," please.
