Miley Cyrus has nothing but good things to say about Woody Allen despite the sexual abuse allegations that have plagued him for decades.

In Variety’s Power of Women issue, which features Cyrus on its cover, the singer confirmed she was a fan of the director before she signed on to star in his Amazon series, “Crisis in Six Scenes,” and enjoyed being on his set.

“I loved working with Woody,” she said. “You do like two takes. He just wants to go home and have dinner with his wife.”

When asked if she was aware of the sexual abuse allegations, Cyrus said, “Until I know someone and I know their story, I never really judge anyone.”

“From the way I saw him with his family, I never saw him be anything but an incredible person and a really great dad,” she added. “People might slam me for saying that. I’m sure it was a hard time for that family. My family has been through hard things, and I think everyone’s suffering is different.”

Cyrus also spoke to Variety about Donald Trump ― though she had a less flattering opinion of him.

“I do think there’s something that goes with the Kardashians and Trump,” she told the magazine. “The Kardashians are better than Trump, because they are not trying to run the country. They are just trying to be famous, and that’s fine. We are obsessed with celebrity. When Trump started this, I was laughing. I thought it’s not going to go anywhere; there’s no way he’ll be the candidate.”

The former “Hannah Montana” star also admitted that, although she was a big supporter of Bernie Sanders, the fact that Sanders supporters are reluctant to vote for Hillary Clinton is “literally pissing me off more than anything.”

“If you could ever consider Donald Trump, you never understood Bernie in the first place,” she said.
