If you’re trying to figure out which campus has the students most excited for the first presidential debate in the 2016 campaign, you might want to try George Washington University in D.C. Or maybe look to Vassar College in New York, or even the U.S. Military Academy or Naval Academy.
These institutions were named some of the colleges where students are the most politically active by the Princeton Review, a college guidebook publisher.
At GWU, it’s obviously a lot easier to get involved with a think tank, political organization or intern on Capitol Hill if you live in Washington, D.C. Many of the other institutions in the ranking are liberal arts schools, plus a couple of campuses training members of the military.
The Princeton Review’s rankings are based on survey responses from students at 380 campuses. Students are asked several dozen questions about their campus and student body, then asked to respond on a sliding scale.
