Stephen Hawking's famed book A Brief History Of Time has a new companion in Neil DeGrasse Tyson's narration for a video called A Brief History Of Everything (above).
The fasinating video, from the YouTube series MinutePhysics, explains the birth of the universe, and its 13.7-billion-year lifespan, all in eight-and-a-half minutes.
Tyson wrote the explanation in 1998 for Natural History magazine. And now, Tyson can be heard reading the explanation in the video, with the added effects of music and animation. Enjoy!
