The news is weird today.

1. Robert Mueller is reportedly investigating Trump for obstruction of justice. #45 is not pleased about it. More here.

2. A judge ordered the army to redo part of its environmental analysis for the Dakota Access pipeline. This is a step in the right direction, but we’d rather no pipeline at all. More here.

3. 31 people were killed in a restaurant siege by the al-Shabab group in Mogadishu, Somalia. The attack began with a car bomb followed by gunmen rushing into a pizza parlour. More here.

4. Missouri State Representative Mike Moon announced his new anti-abortion bill by beheading and gutting a live chicken, and sharing it on Facebook live. How in the fuck did he think this would be a good way to make his point? More here.

5. Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull publicly mocked Trump at the Australian Parliament’s annual Midwinter Ball. It’s only a matter of time until Trump tweets about this. More here.
