The Past, Present And Future Of The Hamburger

The Past, Present And Future Of The Hamburger

Last week was Burger Week at Eater.com and "hamburgerologist" Josh Ozersky penned a three-part series on "The Story of the Hamburger."

Part I: The Past. Ozersky explores the creation of the beloved hamburger in 1921, and traces its early growth.

Part II: The Present. The modern history of the burger began in 2001, with Daniel Boulud's famous db burger. The burger world has not been the same since.

Part III: The Future. Hamburgers will get bigger with worse quality meat. Grass-fed patties will be a thing of the past.

Looks like there is good reason for living in the present.
