Some English locals are literally getting their panties in a bunch over an older woman hanging out her, ahem, delicates to dry.
Sixty-five-year-old grandmother Rozamund Perrin hung her undergarments on a line in the small English town of Stokeinteignhead, Devon ― only to later find out that they had been stolen.
No, they weren’t taken by someone with a panty fetish. Instead they were left at her door with an unsavory note, which her daughter, Charlotte Wilkinson, posted on Facebook.
“It is total inappropriate for this type of garment to be displayed opposite the village primary school,” the note reads, referencing the pictured black panties.
Wilkinson slammed the anonymous sender for being “small minded."
“Prudishness of this village is unbelievable!!” she said. “Didn’t know there was a law against hanging your knickers on the line?”
Perrin told SWNS that she finds the incident both “funny” and “annoying,” but it’s not the first time her panties have caused a stir. She moved to the small town 13 years ago and said she’s received a complaint from the local council. She’s also had her underwear stolen off the drying line before, but never returned to her with a note in this way. Local police have simply told her to dry her delicates at night time.

In fact, one of the world’s former oldest women said she was still wearing lacy things at the ripe age of 116! And it seems others don’t have issue with what Perrin decides to wear underneath her clothes, either.
The post, which has gotten hundreds of shares and likes, has also garnered plenty of support for Perrin and her panties.
“Go glam gram!” reads one comment. Others suggested donating panties in an act of defiance. Others suggested Perrin continue to hang racier and racier panties out to dry. One person even posted a photo of a thong and a note of support she’s sending Perrin’s way as an “up your bum” gesture to the panty bandit.
