Clean-up in aisle 12... Someone needs to scrub this from the public memory.
Shoppers at a Target in Campbell, California, got an early morning earful of what sounds like a pornographic video playing over the loudspeaker.
Gina Young was in the store with her two young sons at 10:30 am when she heard the sounds over the loudspeaker. She posted a video of the incident to her Facebook page.
Employees were running around everywhere," she says in the video's description. "Picking and hanging up phones, which worked....for about two minutes before it started up again."
Chaos ensued as store managers scrambled to find the source of the illicit recordings.
People were screaming at employees, video taping, some laughing some disgusted. It was terribly awkward," Young says.
Judging by her son's reactions, they weren't too thrilled about the XXX exposure, either.
A media relations spokesperson for Target told the Huffington Post that they are currently investigating the incident:
We are actively reviewing the situation with the team to better understand what happened and to help ensure this doesn’t happen again. Because this is an active investigation, I’m unable to share additional details, but we want our guests to know that we take this very seriously."
