Rebel Wilson Is The Ursula We Always Wanted In 'The Little Mermaid Live'

Pitch perfect as always.

We know we're not supposed to cheer for Ursula, but Rebel Wilson was pitch perfect as the tentacled antagonist.

The actress blew everyone away with her magical rendition of "Poor Unfortunate Souls" at the live production of Disney's "The Little Mermaid" at the Hollywood Bowl this past weekend.

The cast of the live show also included Sara Bareilles as Ariel, Darren Criss as Prince Eric, Tituss Burgess as Sebastian, John Stamos as Chef Louis, and Norm Lewis as King Triton. The star-studded cast was backed by a live chorus and a 71-piece orchestra.

Bareilles looked downright regal in a sparkling teal gown. Her performance of "Part of Your World" has us convinced she might actually be a Disney princess.

Meanwhile, Burgess killed it singing " Under the Sea" as Ariel's crustacean companion Sebastian.

As for Uncle Jesse, aka John Stamos, the "Fuller House" actor really got into it during "Les Poissons." Check out that 'stache.

Though "The Little Mermaid" had a short run as a Broadway musical in 2008-09, there are rumors that Disney is contemplating a live-action feature film.

Additionally, Universal Pictures is also developing a live-action adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale.

It's going to be awkward if the two films go head-to-head, but that's good news for fans. We want to be part of a world with two "Little Mermaid" movies.
