Friends Dish Out Candy To Neighbors In 'Reverse Trick-Or-Treating'

“Oh, goodness - there’s someone at the door!”

These two pals celebrated Halloween this year with a harmless joke that was both a trick and a treat.

Dressed up as two doting grandmothers, YouTube user Trent Toney and a friend went from door to door on Oct. 31 offering goodies to neighbors who themselves were handing out candy. The pair even brought their own door with them, setting up the facade of a home at each (real) house they visited.

“Oh, goodness, there’s someone at the door!” the friends coo in a high-pitched, grandma impersonation as they visit one neighbor. “Would you like a trick or treat?”

According to the YouTube video, Toney was inspired by a Doctor Popular comic that features college students playing the same joke on their neighbors.

The cartoon is a delight, and in our opinion, the prank is even better IRL. Check out the video above.
