Frightening Notes Reportedly Found At San Jose Double Murder Scene

Two messages were reportedly found at the scene of a double murder in San Jose, with one of the notes implying there could be more killings to come.

"Sorry my first kill was clumsy," one of the notes read, according to local ABC station KGO.

The grim message was found scrawled in ink on the floor next to the bodies of Golam Rabbi, 59, and his wife, 57-year-old Shamima Rabbi, who were found on Sunday.

The two had been shot, the station reported.

A second note, written on the wall, claimed the woman had begged for her life, NBC Bay Area reported.

"I can’t be like you, telling a lie. I can’t love someone without telling them," the rambling message also said.

Police told the San Jose Mercury News that the "incident was not a random act of violence and the suspect was someone familiar to the family."

The Rabbis were active in the Muslim community, but police added that they do not believe their faith played a role in the killings.

The couple had two children, ages 17 and 21, KGO reported, who were not at home during the slayings.

Police have spoken to the teen, but are still looking for the other for questioning, KRON reported.

"We ask Allah to forgive the deceased, shower his mercy on them, and make their graves a garden from paradise," the South Bay Islamic Association said in a statement. "In addition, we extend our deepest condolences to the family and ask Allah to grant them strength and patience during this most difficult time."
