Why Selena Gomez Loves Those 'Wonderful' Lesbian Rumors

Selena Gomez doesn't mind persistent rumors about her sexuality -- in fact, she says she loves them.

Currently making the media rounds in support of her new album, "Revival," the 23-year-old star opened up about blogosphere speculation over the nature of her friendship with model-actress Cara Delevingne, who is bisexual, in an interview with PrideSource's Chris Azzopardi.

"Honestly, I loved it," she said of the buzz. "I didn't mind it. Especially because they weren't talking about other people in my life for once, which was wonderful."

Gomez, who has dated the likes of Nick Jonas and Justin Bieber, revealed that she'd questioned her own sexuality at times.

"I think everybody does, no matter who they are. I do, yeah, of course," she said in the interview. "I think it's healthy to gain a perspective on who you are deep down, question yourself and challenge yourself; it's important to do that."

She also gushed about Delevingne, calling her pal "incredible and very open." "She's so fun and she's just extremely adventurous, and sometimes I just want that in my life," she said.

She's cool with an ex-boyfriend's recent embrace of the gay community, too. Although Jonas has been accused of "baiting" queer fans with steamy photoshoots and gay roles on "Kingdom" and "Scream Queens," Gomez calls his recent work "super rad."

"It was kind of incredible for somebody to step out of their zone for a minute. It's really incredible to see what he's done," she said. "He clearly has had a love and compassion for everyone, and I think that's great."
