The One Pair Of Shoes You Should Never, Ever Buy. Just STOP.

Fashion is full of contradictions (see sleeveless turtlenecks and shearling mini skirts). And while some of these contradictions are fun and whimsical, others are annoying and confusing (see toe socks). But there is one particular fashion trend that irks us to our very core, every single time we see it: The peep-toe bootie.

First of all, what season is this shoe for? Certainly not winter (your toes would freeze) and definitely not summer (you would melt) -- maybe a balmy fall day when your toes need some ventilation? They also wouldn't be smart in the rain (your toes would get wet). These boots really only work in 60 to 65 degree Fahrenheit weather, when there are clear skies and no nip in the air. Real practical.

We're not sure how this shoe-boot hybrid has proliferated, but we do know that we alone can't put a stop to the problem -- power in numbers, people. Help end the atrocities. Whenever you see this:
