Skateboarder Kyle Wester absolutely destroyed his sport’s speed record, hitting nearly 90 miles per hour while going downhill last week, according to a clip Santa Cruz Skateboards posted to YouTube.
Wester hit 89.41 mph. Just watch him go:
The current world record as recognized by Guinness is 80.74 mph, which Mischo Erban of Canada set in 2012.
