“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert lampooned President Donald Trump for his latest tweet about Nordstrom dropping his daughter Ivanka Trump’s clothing line from its store.
Nordstrom cited poor sales as the reason for not buying the brand this season, a move Colbert said any businessman would understand.
“Except one,” he added, referencing Trump’s tweet in which the president described the retailer as treating his daughter “so unfairly.”
“This is crazy!” Colbert continued. “This is insane. You cannot use the power of the office of the president to protect a family business, all right?”
