Watch Stephen Curry Read From Scouting Reports That Questioned His Talent

"He will have limited success at the next level ... "

The Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry had himself quite the historic season last year. He made seemingly countless numbers of acrobatic layups and Hail Mary three-point attempts. He won the MVP. And then he won the NBA championship.

While Curry had been making waves in the league for years, his 2014-2015 campaign pushed him into the highest echelon of NBA superstars -- despite, and perhaps in spite of, the warnings and wary comments that filled his scouting reports coming out of college.

In a new ad for CoachUp, Curry read out a selection of those comments, many of which seem ironic at best given his recent success.

Here are a few of the remarks, paired with some pretty damning proof of their falsity:

“He needs to considerably improve as a ball handler ... ”

“[Curry] is not a great finisher around the basket ... ”

“He will have limited success at the next level ... ”

Now, with those couple pieces of hardware under his belt, it looks like the naysayers are finally silenced.
